Freelance Work

Lighting: should be adequate to avoid causing eye-strain or other potential visual impairments.
Temperature: should be at least 16oC and although there is no law-binding upper limit, there is research which suggests work-based accidents become more likely above a temperature of 24oC.
Drinking water: on tap.
Toilets: a sufficient number, clean and fully functioning.
Washing: provide hot and cold water, soap and towels.
Space: provide at least 11 cubic meters for each person permanently occupying a workplace.

Other things freelancers should into consideration is their diet and how much they exercise. Since most freelance work is done at home, freelancers do not get to go out as much, causing them to not get much exercise. Freelancers should eat healthily and exercise often to make up for the time they spend indoors.

Freelancers should also take regular breaks (e.g a 10 minute break every hour or so) to avoid possible injury such as eye strain.
